"This is a hidden gem off the beaten path and totally worth the trip! The owners have put so much thought and intentional detail into the cabins and it’s a great place to retreat from this busyness of life! Make sure to ask the owners about the story of bringing it to life- there’s a lot of heart behind it - I loved hearing it from Max! I took this trip as a solo business retreat and enjoyed the peace and quiet to do some work and clear my head. Inside the cabin, they’ve put some cool little bougie touches that make it easy to stay in and chill. I loved the showerhead, the techy bathroom mirror with the lighting, the fan in the bedroom, and the Marshall Bluetooth speaker (need to buy one of these now!!).

I did DoorDash for food both nights and got some wine from the lobby. I took a walk down to the river twice and sat in the chairs there (if you love nature - go walk one of the paths to find this surreal pond with lily pads and water so clear you can see the fish swimming in it). I’m glad I went outside my comfort zone and stayed here versus staying in the city - I flew into Austin and it was an easy 37ish minute Uber to the Melrose River Club! Go - you won’t regret it!"
